Extension rod, with other names such as Extension drill steel, Extension drill rod, and Extension steel, and M/F rod ( Speedrod ). It produces Hexagonal and round cross sections. Hexagonal rods are more rigid, heavier and transfer energy more efficiently, while round rods are generally lighter than the hexagonal rods, and are normally used in extension drilling applications.

For Extension Rod and M/F steel process, the Carburization of heat treatment is applied to maximize their performance and reliability. This process hardens the entire rod surface by adding a surface layer of carbon. It not only strengthens the rod’s surface, but also helps to extend the life.
In addition, the M/F steel process is particularly suitable for drilling metallic materials. It is designed to offer maximum speed and power, allowing for faster and accurate drilling.
